Dr. Danielle O’Brien grew up in McKinney, Texas. Before completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma, she was accepted into the University of Edinburgh Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, where she spent the next 5 years living and learning in a new culture overseas. She has worked in emergency medicine for a majority of her career, practicing in various states and settled in Philadelphia in 2017. She has inherited a few strays along the way – “Potter” a pit bull/lab mix who was hit by a car and earned his moniker from “the boy who lived” and “Binks” a mischievous black cat named after the 300 year old magical feline from Hocus Pocus. She enjoys spending time outdoors, attending concerts and playing volleyball.
