School Experience/Credentials…Celeste attended Rider College and Mercer County Community College with a Liberal Arts Major. She began working at CARES in 1995 and also has worked as an assistant in a dental office for 14 years. She also enjoys attending workshops and continuing education courses in customer service, communication skills and business strategy.
The most rewarding thing she finds about her veterinary career is…she has known the employees here for 10 plus years. They has been with her through her life’s journey. She also feels that being part of CARES is being part of something great. She feels we are helping furry family members live happier, healthier and longer lives. We are here to support the pet parents as well as the pet patient and that for her is very fulfilling. She has learned a great deal from our clients, patients and fellow employees. Her experiences with be with her forever.
Many people may not know…original major in college was Theater with a minor in French. She wanted to write plays and live in Paris. She has never written a play but she did get to visit Paris once in 2006. It was magical.
People often refer to her as…“work mom”. Because Celeste has been here so long, she is old enough to be almost everyone’s mom giving her the title that she loves very much.
When she isn’t at CARES, you can find her…spending time with her family. They love to camp and try to go to as many camp grounds as possible. They also try to go to a different amusement park every year. She loves to read (mostly biographies and nonfiction), binge watch Netflix shows and cook. In the summer you can find her and her daughter at the beach as often as possible; it is their favorite place to be.
Her human and furry family consists of…her husband, Michael; her daughter, Fiona; her 2 Siamese cats, Doh Doh and Mikito; her Bearded Dragon, Sparkles; her Whippet, Aston and her Miniature Pincher, Dexter.
